The worse semester is finishing

Hello classmates! I'm very happy because this is the last post in my life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 

Finally the English is over hehe! First I want give us good luck and calm for finish this semester, only have one week left and it's over.

Well, in this last post I'm going write about my semester. The truth is that this is the worse semester because I had subjects really bad. For that reason I’m very behind with the most important subject this semester: my thesis :(

I think that is very problematic that the other subjects be more responsibilities when we must fulfill with our thesis and besides we must confront our personal problems. All the people say to us that “like this the university” or “like this is the life”, but I ask me: this is the real life? I believe that no; I believe that the university life should be more pleasant. But no, the reality is different and I hate it many times. How Mafalda says: Stop the World I want to get off (these are my feelings in this moment)

But not all is bad… this semester also it has been a good thing as the best moments with my friends, much learning about feminism, and so much changes in my personal life. Has been a roller coaster of emotions hehe! Exactly because the good things happen out of class it is the daily life.

So, for finish I have to say us that we going to pass all subjects. The holidays are of round the corner

My ambition

Hello! Today i’m going to write about an ambition. The truth is that I have many ambitions and the majority are so difficult to fulfill.

One of this ambitions are inspired in the idea of live in a better world, for example, fight against patriarchy, capitalism, colonialism and all oppressives systems.

These ambitions are too big and in this moment we don’t have the conditions for destroy with this system. For those reasons I prefer to talk about an ambition more realistic.

This ambition is as a dream that I have a long time ago. It’s travel to Cuba, that in my opinion is the best country in latin america.

I would live to achieve my ambition because I propose myself when I started my career. I said to myself: “when you finish the university the first place that you visit will be Cuba!”

And well, shortage only one year!

This ambition is inspired in my own projects of life and it’s connected with my big ambitions because Cuba is the country of the socialist revolution. For that reason I hope to learn so much things about socialism, the cuban society, the people and their culture.

For me, fulfill this ambition is very important because is a great step in my life that mean that I should expand my politics relationship and share experiences and knowledge.

Practice for the test

Hi! today I did so much test. The truth is that I was boring because I want to sleep. Despite I did it the best I could.

Well, the areas more successful were the reading exercises as part one and two about signs and matching. The vocabulary excercise was not bad I did get I did get 25 points of 33!!!

In the listening I was so bad :( this is an area that I need to work but it's very difficult for me. I am not going to say my score because I am ashamed hehe!

So, this is my story hahaha!

Cucao is a beautiful place!

Hi everyone! In this post I'm going to write about a place very important for me.

The first time that I backpacking was in a trip to the south of Chile, specifically to Chiloé. I was there in the last summer on february. In this time it was so cold but fortunately I was prepared for the weather.

I was with my best friend but I have to myself. In this trip we were going to different cities to Chiloé island as Ancud, Dalcahue, Curaco de Velez, Achao, Quinchao, Chonchi, Castro and Cucao. This last city is very special for me because I remember a lot experiences in this place.

When we arrived in Cucao I was impress and amazing with the scenery. The nature was wonderful and the lake was so quiet. Even though it was difficult for us to find a campsite, we located in the "La Papa" camping. This camping was the most beautiful and magic place because it was manage by an old woman very special and nice. The old lady was name María and she loved your cows, even she was yell it for that the cows arrived to climb the hill (We had a lot of fun to seeing that moment). For that reason I liked this place because it was a meet with nature in the day of the moon party. That night we danced around the fire while a group of the music played afro songs, it was so mystical!

Other thing that I liked of this trip was going to the "muelle de las almas".

It was so hard to arrived there because no car wanted to give us a ride but definitely it was worth it!

Definitely I recommend this place because is a very nice experience in a so mystic place!

He burned!

Hi everyone!

In this post I write about my favourite song at the moment!  I hear this song every week because it's so good.

This song is "he burned" (se quemó) and it's sing by "the other" (la otra). The singer is from Spain and she's a feminist woman, for that reason I love all her songs.

The style of music is folk and the main instruments are guitar and voice of singer.

The first time hear this song was when a friend send to me by facebook. I was be listen to "the other" but not this song, for that I was very impressed when I was listening because the letter it's very ironic and sarcastic!

This song is about the rapists of women and it's show that there are arguments very ridicules about this topic. For example, when a woman suffer a rape the medium and people says that the responsability is of woman! I think that is terrible but the TV, newspappers, radio, etc. accuse the woman for the clothes that she wears, the drinks that she consume and the time that she comes back home. In any case the responsability is the rapist and for that reason I think that this society is very sexist. 

In different cases, the people and medium says that the woman asked for that violation. In the song, there are different verses say that the rapist asked for that burn, for example:

"Y hay testigos que ese mismo día le vieron 

comprando un mechero, 

como saber si no se prendió fuego a si mismo 

y luego mintió"

For that reasons I like this song, in spite of it's very sad, is the reality and for this is very important make a change!

My lunar diary

Hi! Today I write about a present that give me this year.

This present is a lunar diary but it's not any diary. It's very special for me because in this diary I can write about my menstrual cycle, my emotions, the changes of my body, and any important change in my life!

In my diary also I can paint different drawings about each lunar cycle: new moon, waxing moon, full moon and waning moon. All this phases of the moon it's represent for a woman. It's so beautiful!

My partner gave me this diary for my birthday in march of this year. That is a one reason for liked it. Other reason for this present like me is it useful because I make a not of my temperature, my flow and the position of my cervix every day. I imagine some of you would ask why? Because I use the natural contraceptive method and fot that reason I have make a not about it.

Now, my diary it's in my school bag because I can take anywhere. It's very important for me, for that I hope never lose sight of it. 

I think that all women should have this diary (or use any diary with the same objective) because is ver important for self knowledge and the care of own body. It's a little step for our own autonomy!

I love 31 minutos

Hi classmates! Today I'm writing about my favourite TV program when I was a child. I feel very excited with this topic because I used to be a fan of cartoons!

The best TV program that made me had fun in my childhood it was called 31 minutos. The best memories of my childhood I used to watch it on TV with my family every saturday. I remember that we used to laugh so much and we learnt about different topics. I think that all characters were very important for me. I remember each one of them in a very special way.

The programme consisted in very funny and educative news. The first, second and thirth season was transmited in 2003, 2004 and 2005. I think that these years were the best seasons of the program. Later, it transmited the fourth season in 2014 but I was twenty years old, for that time it wasn't funny as before.

Always something to be learnt, for example, "la nota verde" of periodist Juan Carlos Bodoque it was very interesting. In each one episode Bodoque informs us different social problematics, places of Chile, animals, etc.

Bodoque more than a periodist is an author, even he published two books: "el libro rojo" and "el libro verde", wich were very funny because the books has the opposite color of their names (look at the picture! I confess that bougth those books hehe)

I remember the best episode of "la nota verde", it was called "la ruta de la caca" (you can see the video in this link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=huQYAYTcIdE). Today I saw the video again and I had a lot of fun! 

Finally, I even like 31 minutos, especially their songs as "yo opino", "doggy style", "la señora interesante", "nunca me he sacado un 7", etc. Also, I love character "calcetin con rombos man" and "mico el micofono". Every time that see I still it makes me laugh so much.

Hi classmates! Today I'm going to talk about my friend Mathias :) 

Mathias more than a friend he’s my partner, "mi pana". Mathias is my boyfriend, but I don't like saying it in that way because it doesn’t represent what I feel for him. 

Well, first of all we met in San Miguel during a meeting of our organizations. He attends to Colectivo La Minga and since then we still see each other in other activities of this organization.

 We also share with our friends in parties, in the square, at university, etc. One thing I remember is when we watched a match of Chile with a lot of folks, really funny. This is something we have in common: football! When we began to know each other, we always attended to every match and in the way back we always returned together. Also, we always accompany us to train football. 

We are all the time doing funny things. For example, we love to take photos of different things and also to ourselves (Mathias is a photographer!). It’s hilarious when we take photos in the mirror hehe! (Look the picture!)

Usually, we see each other like two or three times per week. Our favourite thing is the food!!! We always order vegetarian dishes like sushi, sandwiches, lasagna, and pizza. And then we watch movies and series on netflix but currently we don’t have an account anymore :( (Well… if someone wants to share his password, could you give it to us please? we promise not to tell anyone hehe!)

 Well, this is my partner. I love him so much! :)

Fiesta de la Tirana

This year, I and my friend Luciano, went to Tirana at Tarapacá region in the north of Chile. This town has the best religious and cultural celebration: “La Fiesta de la Tirana”. I and my friend went to celebration for nine days from June 13th to June 21th. In these days we were travel free in different transports like trucks, cars and bus. In this trip we backpacking from La Calera to Tirana in one day and a half, we arrive very fast! Because we were traveling a long distance in only two trucks. My friend even had to drive a car from the crossing road to Tirana, because the owner of car not has driving license and my friend yes. That was very funny! 

I remember, when arrive to Tirana we were delighted with town, people, dances, masks, and everything. We were walking by the town every night and we went to the craft fair and church. I believed that people dancing with team of dance, but not! Everybody was looking the dances, anymore. That disappointed me, because I wanted dancing every night. 

Finally, this trip was very special for me, because was the first time I backpacking to north of Chile. I knew so much places and I feel so good!

Flamenco I'm coming for you

Hi everyone!

Today I am going to talk about the country that I would like to visit sometime in my life. This country is Spain!, Well, to be honest, I define my relationship with Spain as love and hate. You will be wondering why? Love, because I like the flamenco dance very much. I have danced flamenco for six years and I would love to travel to Spain to learn the dance with the real gypsy women.  Hate, because Spain colonized our native world and I feel this historic fact makes a conflict in my mind. Even so I would still travel because I want to know the roots of flamenco in the poor places of Spain, among the gypsies outsider your ground historically. Finally they are people persecute and the dance has been a way to keep their culture.

For these reasons I would like to live in Spain for a few years and study the gypsy culture about dance flamenco. Besides, Spain is a doorway to travel through the rest of europe and I would like to travel around the world. I hope I have money to travel and fulfil a wish!

Why feminism?

Hello classmates! 

This is my blog and today I want to tell you my reasons for named this blog.

Feminism is special for me. It is a political position in life. For this I consider it a principle of life. 

"Personal is politic" is the most popular sentence for feminist movement and is very important for me. I try to practice it everyday, because it is a way to know myself.

For these reasons, I think that feminism is a topic very important today, because the woman and sexual diversity have been oppressed a long time for these economical, cultural, social and political systems: the patriarchy and neoliberalism. The women are the five percent of people in the world, so I don't understand how most people can be too discriminator and violent with the women and differents gender identities.

Therefore I take the cause of feminism and I hope that all the people are join to this movement, specially the women and diversity, for finish with oppresion and gender inequality.

Know yourself and Know the feminism!!! :) ♥
