My best friend ♥

Hi classmates! Today I'm going to talk about my friend Mathias :) 

Mathias more than a friend he’s my partner, "mi pana". Mathias is my boyfriend, but I don't like saying it in that way because it doesn’t represent what I feel for him. 

Well, first of all we met in San Miguel during a meeting of our organizations. He attends to Colectivo La Minga and since then we still see each other in other activities of this organization.

 We also share with our friends in parties, in the square, at university, etc. One thing I remember is when we watched a match of Chile with a lot of folks, really funny. This is something we have in common: football! When we began to know each other, we always attended to every match and in the way back we always returned together. Also, we always accompany us to train football. 

We are all the time doing funny things. For example, we love to take photos of different things and also to ourselves (Mathias is a photographer!). It’s hilarious when we take photos in the mirror hehe! (Look the picture!)

Usually, we see each other like two or three times per week. Our favourite thing is the food!!! We always order vegetarian dishes like sushi, sandwiches, lasagna, and pizza. And then we watch movies and series on netflix but currently we don’t have an account anymore :( (Well… if someone wants to share his password, could you give it to us please? we promise not to tell anyone hehe!)

 Well, this is my partner. I love him so much! :)

Fiesta de la Tirana

This year, I and my friend Luciano, went to Tirana at Tarapacá region in the north of Chile. This town has the best religious and cultural celebration: “La Fiesta de la Tirana”. I and my friend went to celebration for nine days from June 13th to June 21th. In these days we were travel free in different transports like trucks, cars and bus. In this trip we backpacking from La Calera to Tirana in one day and a half, we arrive very fast! Because we were traveling a long distance in only two trucks. My friend even had to drive a car from the crossing road to Tirana, because the owner of car not has driving license and my friend yes. That was very funny! 

I remember, when arrive to Tirana we were delighted with town, people, dances, masks, and everything. We were walking by the town every night and we went to the craft fair and church. I believed that people dancing with team of dance, but not! Everybody was looking the dances, anymore. That disappointed me, because I wanted dancing every night. 

Finally, this trip was very special for me, because was the first time I backpacking to north of Chile. I knew so much places and I feel so good!

Flamenco I'm coming for you

Hi everyone!

Today I am going to talk about the country that I would like to visit sometime in my life. This country is Spain!, Well, to be honest, I define my relationship with Spain as love and hate. You will be wondering why? Love, because I like the flamenco dance very much. I have danced flamenco for six years and I would love to travel to Spain to learn the dance with the real gypsy women.  Hate, because Spain colonized our native world and I feel this historic fact makes a conflict in my mind. Even so I would still travel because I want to know the roots of flamenco in the poor places of Spain, among the gypsies outsider your ground historically. Finally they are people persecute and the dance has been a way to keep their culture.

For these reasons I would like to live in Spain for a few years and study the gypsy culture about dance flamenco. Besides, Spain is a doorway to travel through the rest of europe and I would like to travel around the world. I hope I have money to travel and fulfil a wish!

Why feminism?

Hello classmates! 

This is my blog and today I want to tell you my reasons for named this blog.

Feminism is special for me. It is a political position in life. For this I consider it a principle of life. 

"Personal is politic" is the most popular sentence for feminist movement and is very important for me. I try to practice it everyday, because it is a way to know myself.

For these reasons, I think that feminism is a topic very important today, because the woman and sexual diversity have been oppressed a long time for these economical, cultural, social and political systems: the patriarchy and neoliberalism. The women are the five percent of people in the world, so I don't understand how most people can be too discriminator and violent with the women and differents gender identities.

Therefore I take the cause of feminism and I hope that all the people are join to this movement, specially the women and diversity, for finish with oppresion and gender inequality.
